As a busy TA pro, your time is at a premium. Here at Gem, we get it. That’s why we’re releasing several updates this month to help save you time and make your recruiting processes more efficient.
Read on to get an overview of all our latest product updates. We’ll also share resources where you can learn more if there’s any topic you’d really like to dive into.
The TL;DR version
We've added AI-powered context throughout the platform, streamlined offer processes with e-signature email templates, and made it even easier to start AI sourcing wherever you are in Gem.
Key highlights:
Gem Platform: Get faster context with AI company summaries in Gem profiles
Gem ATS: Streamline offer workflows with e-signature email templates
AI Sourcing: Start searches from more places in Gem
Gem CRM: Instantly enrich CSV imports with candidate data
Other key updates: Across Gem ATS, AI Sourcing, Scheduling, and CRM
Still hungry for more information? We’ll look at each update in more detail below.
Gem Platform: Get faster context with AI company summaries in Gem profiles
When reviewing candidate profiles across Gem, you'll now see AI-powered company summaries that include funding stage tags showing when the candidate joined their companies, like "Joined at Series C" or "Joined at Seed." Get broader context about each company, including funding stage, product mix, business model, and company maturity, with detailed funding stages and investor data coming soon.

Gem ATS: Streamline offer workflows with e-signature email templates
Stop retyping offer emails every time you send e-signature requests. You can now create reusable email templates for offer letters with full token support, automatically populating candidate names, job titles, and other details. Set up default templates or create custom ones for specific roles or departments, making your offer process consistent and efficient.
AI Sourcing: Start searches from more places in Gem
We've added AI Sourcing shortcuts throughout Gem to make it easier to kick off searches wherever you are in your workflow. You can now launch AI Sourcing directly from empty prospect lists, projects with no candidates, jobs without applicants, and when your existing searches return no results. No more navigating back to the main AI Sourcing page — just click and start sourcing.

Gem CRM: Instantly enrich CSV imports with candidate data
When uploading candidate CSVs to projects, you can now use your monthly Data Refresh credits to instantly enrich profiles with additional candidate information — perfect when you have limited data on prospects. This saves hours of manual research and ensures you have complete candidate profiles right from upload.

Other key updates
Finally, we have a few exciting updates from the following Gem products.
Gem AI Sourcing
Preview job postings before starting searches: Quickly review your selected job posting while setting up a new search to ensure you're using the right description and criteria before Gem AI generates filters.
Bulk actions for unreviewed prospects: Select multiple prospects to quickly bulk review them as yes/no/maybe or add them to projects, speeding up your prospect evaluation process.
Default company tenure filter: New searches now automatically filter for prospects with 10+ months at their current company, helping you avoid candidates who just started new roles. You can still customize this filter as needed.
Gem ATS
Reject applications directly from the Gem Chrome Extension: Skip the extra clicks and page loads by rejecting, unrejecting, or marking applications as "dropped out" directly from the Gem Chrome Extension — whether you’re working in Gmail, LinkedIn, or anywhere else on the web.
Gem Scheduling
Personalize scheduling emails with role-specific tokens: When emailing candidates, you can now automatically reference team member titles. Try out these new tokens — {{Me.Title}}, {{Coordinator.Title}}, {{Recruiter.Title}}, {{HiringManager.Title}}, {{Sourcer.Title}}, and {{Scheduler.Title}} — in your next email to quickly introduce the interview team and level up your personalization.
Gem CRM
Make projects confidential when creating them: Set project access levels during creation, including a new "Confidential" option that restricts visibility to only designated users. Project access defaults pull from your team settings but can be customized on-the-fly.
Schedule emails for later the same day: Expand your email scheduling options with same-day delivery and random business hour timing, making your outreach feel more natural and less automated.
Source security-cleared talent on ClearanceJobs: Use the Gem Chrome Extension to add prospects directly from ClearanceJobs into Gem with one click, automatically pulling in contact information and job details from the largest community of security-cleared professionals. Learn more about our sourcing site integrations.
And that’s a wrap for June! We’ll be back again soon with more updates to continue saving you time and simplifying your toughest tasks.
