Congratulations to the winners of the 2021 H2 Top Gem User Awards! The Top Gem User Awards recognize sourcers and recruiters who write the most compelling, targeted messages that drive extraordinary engagement and successfully convert passive talent into job applicants. We give these awards out twice a year. Across thousands of Gem users, the winners combine their craft with Gem to achieve the highest number of replies and interested rates. In addition, they show a strong ability to adapt, innovate, and breakthrough in a new recruiting world.

Meet the judges: Gem Pipeline Analytics

The methodology of our winner selection is based on data analysis by Gem’s analytics team. Based on users’ outreach and engagement data on the Gem platform, these winners show their ability to leverage Gem to craft and execute extraordinarily engaging outreach.

Insights shared by the winners:

“Be fast and thorough. Each touchpoint is more important than ever, and you have to make sure you share and receive as much info in each call/email/Zoom to build a relationship and move quickly to maintain momentum. Being remote has made opportunities feel much more fleeting, so every little thing matters when touching base with a candidate.” – Patrick M, Recruiting Manager at LogRocket

“I think it's important to pass the message that, even if a job is offered remotely, this doesn't mean that one is cut out of the company culture and environment. This is a nice point to raise with remote candidates.” – Francesca Vera M, Recruiter at Bending Spoons

“Timing is everything. If you don’t get a response try again (with a different approach in 3-6 months). Life changes quickly, and talent might be ready to engage next time. I use a number of unique touches with multiple sequences.” – Dmitry P, Lead Sourcer at TripActions
