Gem partners with SAP to help enterprise companies recruit more effectively

Gem is delighted to announce that our talent engagement and analytics platform is now available on SAP® Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. As a partner in the SAP PartnerEdge® program—which provides the enablement tools, benefits, and support to build high-quality, disruptive applications focused on specific business needs—we’re able to offer a new opportunity to SuccessFactors’ customers. For over five years, Gem has helped recruiting teams use data and automation to engage talent more deeply, build diverse, high-quality pipelines, and hire predictably at any scale; and this integration—built in direct partnership with SAP—will ensure Gem’s customers on SuccessFactors get up-to-speed even faster, ultimately accelerating return on investment.

One of those customers is Celestica, a 24,000+ person company in the manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain solutions space. Jaime Schmitt, Talent Attraction Manager for North America, describes the team’s experience of the Gem-SuccessFactors partnership as one in which there was “little that we needed to do. Gem said: ‘Here’s the integration, here’s the training,’ and we were off and running.” Celestica’s team scaled quickly—launching initially in the U.S. and Canada, bringing on Europe and Mexico within two weeks, and Asia just a month later. Since onboarding, “our time to fill has decreased dramatically,” Jaime says. “Within the first 30 days of using Gem, we were filling positions that had been open for over a year. In the first month, we hired nine engineers across three countries… the team can now handle higher req loads since Gem is doing so much of the work for us.”
